Ad Copy (Paid + Organic)
Stop the scroll with ads that stand out.
Ads are about as fast-paced as you can get when it comes to marketing. Ya gotta pack a lot in just a small amount of space. That’s why I do more than just throw cool words together. I dig deep into audience research, brand voice, and competitor data to make sure each ad captures attention, gets to the point fast, and makes a lasting impression.
It’s 2025. Advertising doesn’t have to be forceful or desperate. And in the world of SaaS, they don’t have to be overly technical either. They can be fun, funny, and even heartwarming with the right approach in mind.

The Process
Here's a brief overview of what our first project will look like.
Typical timeline: 1.5-2.5 weeks
Assumes a set of 5-10 ad variations across 1-2 platforms
1. Discovery
Estimated time: 1-2 days
Includes the initial 30-minute call, sending over a proposal, going through questions/negotiations, and getting verbal/written confirmation to move forward.
Exact time will vary depending on your response time and how quickly you will finalize your decision.
2. Setting Up
Estimated time: 1 day
Includes signing the contract, receiving first payment, and setting up our collaboration in Asana (if needed).
This step is usually pretty quick once the green light is given.
3. Research
Estimated time: 2-4 days
Includes audience targeting, brand/product benefits, and tone of voice review.
This step varies, depending on how much client material is available, how many interviews I’ll be doing, and the interviewees’ availability.
4. Writing
Estimated time: 2-3 days
Includes reviewing research materials, outlining, drafting, and quality assurance.
The more complex the project, the more time I’ll need for this step. Buffer time is added to ensure quality. (Writing is a creative process!)
5. Revisions
Estimated time: 1-3 days
Includes your reviews of the draft and submitting requests for changes. A short call to discuss feedback is available upon request.
Again, the exact time this step will take will vary depending on your response time.
6. Wrapping It Up
Estimated time: 1-3 days
Includes sending final deliverables, issuing final invoice, scheduling a follow-up consultation to review performance metrics, and/or extending the project.
Unless more work is added to the project, this step tends to move quickly.
Total Estimated Time: 1.5 to 2.5 weeks
While timelines vary by project, most one-off projects take about 2-4 weeks from kickoff to delivery. Larger projects (or multiple deliverables) may take longer, but I’ll provide a tailored timeline during the proposal phase so you know exactly what to expect.

FAQs
Yes! Since each platform has its own best practices and guidelines, I adjust the copy accordingly. I also consider your brand voice and campaign goals so the copy feels natural and aligned with your audience’s expectations.
I use Google Docs to deliver all my copy, including ads. Each ad is clearly labeled based on its subject line, ad number, its purpose, and the variation (A, B, C, etc.). I’ll make sure everything is neat and organized so you save time reviewing and optimizing for launch.
No. Due to my project workload as a freelancer, I focus exclusively on writing the copy. That said, I’d be happy to work with your team to offer suggestions and brainstorm ideas so you have a strategy that’s aligned with your goals.
Yes, I do! While I’m not a professional designer, I can create visuals if you don’t already have a designer on your team. We can discuss your design needs further during our discovery call.
For ad projects, no, I do not charge extra for A/B testing variations, since testing is standard practice for platforms like Facebook/Meta. Additional variations (beyond 2-3 per ad) are available upon request and additional fees may apply, depending on the scope of the project.
Ad copy starts at $50 per ad, which includes research, 2-3 variations per ad, 2 rounds of revisions, and a 5-ad project minimum. If you need variations for testing or platform-specific versions, I will include that in my proposal.
If something isn’t working, my top priority is figuring out why. While I don’t offer refunds, I will request your ad campaign’s performance metrics and analyze what went wrong. If data points to an issue related to the copy itself, I’ll be more than happy to revise the copy free of charge.
Major rewrites will be considered a new project, due to the amount of work and research needed to figure out how to make the copy better. Projects like this are rare, but don’t worry. I won’t leave you hanging. I’m here to help you every step of the way.
The result?

Why choose me?
Because ads are not the place to drone on about random information. In a world where people are bombarded with 4,000 to 10,000 per day, you need a copywriter who knows how to capture attention, make an offer, and create a memorable experience. And FAST.
User Experience (UX) matters.
Nobody likes being sold to. So creating a positive experience for ad viewers is key to creating ads that work. I aim to create ads that feel natural and seamless in your audience’s newsfeeds.
Storytelling matters.
You’d think that ads wouldn’t be the place for storytelling, but guess again. I use storytelling methods used in narrative writing to write ad copy that sparks interest.
A/B testing matters.
Especially with ads. So you can bet your top dollar that I’ll provide 2-3 ad variations so you can test and fine-tune your campaign for the best results possible.
