Content Writing
Hold up… a copywriter who writes content?
Yes and no. While I consider myself a copywriter who specializes in persuasion and sales, I also understand the importance of content writing.
Content is an incredible sidekick to persuasive copy. Yes, you need persuasive copy, but you also need to answer questions, educate, and raise awareness of your brand and offer. Content can do all this and more.
When writing copy, my job is to persuade and get your audience to say yes to your offer. When writing content, my job is to give your audience answers, insights, and tons of value. I use reliable sources, up-to-date studies and statistics, and one-of-a-kind approaches to help make each piece of content readable and engaging.

The Process
Here's a brief overview of what our first project will look like.
Typical timeline: 2.5-4.5 weeks
Assumes a long-form blog post, case study, or guide of ~1,000-2,000 words
1. Discovery
Estimated time: 2-4 days
Includes the initial 30-minute call, sending over a proposal, going through questions/negotiations, and getting verbal/written confirmation to move forward.
Exact time will vary depending on your response time and how quickly you will finalize your decision.
2. Setting Up
Estimated time: 1-3 days
Includes signing the contract, receiving first payment, and setting up our collaboration in Asana (if needed).
This step is usually pretty quick once the green light is given.
3. Research
Estimated time: 5-10 days
Includes reviewing brand materials, voice-of-customer research, competitor audits, and scheduling/holding interviews with your sales team or customers (if applicable).
This step may require even more time if the topic is technical or data-driven.
4. Writing
Estimated time: 4-7 days
Includes reviewing client materials and interview notes, outlining, drafting, stepping away for perspective, and self-editing.
The more complex the project, the more time I’ll need for this step. Buffer time is added to ensure quality. (Writing is a creative process!)
5. Revisions
Estimated time: 3-5 days
Includes your reviews of the draft, your requests for changes, and a follow-up call (if needed).
Again, the exact time this step will take will vary depending on your response time.
6. Wrapping It Up
Estimated time: 1-2 days
Includes sending final deliverables, issuing final invoice, scheduling a follow-up consultation to review performance metrics, and/or extending the project.
Unless more work is added to the project, this step tends to move quickly.
Total Estimated Time: 2.5 to 4 weeks
While timelines vary by project, most one-off projects take about 2-4 weeks from kickoff to delivery. Larger projects (or multiple deliverables) may take longer, but I’ll provide a tailored timeline during the proposal phase so you know exactly what to expect.

FAQs
Generally speaking, I like to do a combination of internal research (reviewing your marketing and branding materials, customer data, past content, etc.) and external research (competitor research, industry trends, etc.). If it’s doable, I’ll also interview your team and/or customers so I can write content that’s touching on all the right points.
Research, baby. Lots of detective work on my end and internal research (reviewing your marketing materials, past content, brand guidelines, etc.) to observe patterns in tone and language. Your brand guidelines and style guide will be super helpful. If you have any concerns about capturing the right tone of voice, I can include a short sample in the outlining stage to make sure we’re on the same page.
I usually use Google Docs to help keep sections organized and to make the revisions stage fast and simple.
For larger campaigns that require both copy and content, I’ll group everything by asset type and deliver it in a Google Drive folder. Each document inside the folder will be clearly labeled so your team knows how each piece fits into the campaign.
While I use AI tools like ChatGPT to help with early-stage steps like idea generation and outlining, the actual writing, editing, and final deliverable is 100% human. As in, written by me. 😉
Yes, I run all my work through a plagiarism checker to make sure everything is original. I also take the time to find up-to-date and reliable sources to use in the research stage, so your content is fresh and trustworthy to your audience.
The result?
Content that educates & builds trust.

Why choose me?
Because in 2025, strong copy with weak content is a waste of time, money, and opportunity.
You may have incredible copy in a well-structured funnel. Heck, you may even have traffic and leads. But if your conversions are still at 0, you may need more areas in the funnel to nurture and educate your audience. That’s where content comes in.
And if you’ve got a copywriter who can write a full funnel (from landing page to email to free guide to conversion), even better!
SEO matters.
Without SEO, content just sits in the internet void. Whenever relevant, I use SEO to write meta descriptions, title tags, and keyword-infused headlines so your content (and your brand) is easy to discover.
Branding matters.
It’s impossible to capture attention if you sound like everybody else. I prioritize your brand’s voice and mission so you stand out in the sea of competition.
Storytelling matters.
Anyone can share information. But storytelling techniques (like pacing, metaphors, using visual language and more) bring a piece of content to life, no matter how mundane or droll the information might be. I use storytelling to write content that readers remember.
Let’s brainstorm content that works for you.
Use the form below to get in touch. Whether you need only content or a combination of content and copy, I’d love to hear what you’re thinking. If you already have a project in mind, please include details regarding deliverables, your timeline, your budget, and your goals for hiring me. I’ll respond within 1-2 business days with recommended next steps.
